Mr Hodgson completed his science degree in 2007 with a major in computer science and specialization in logic and computation. This course of study gave him a background in linguistics, philosophy and mathematics. His law degree focused on intellectual property rights with a particular emphasis on law in the IT field. He also covered topics on taxation and company law. Mr Hodgson worked in a development role for a software firm in Auckland, New Zealand, before joining the Edanz Group in 2009.

Mr Brehaut has more than thirty years experience in Information Technology and Systems Engineering. His various roles in industry have included Systems Engineer, Program Manager, IT Manager, Consultant, Methodologist and Trainer, culminating in his appointment as Chief Architect and subsequently Director of Consulting for CSC Australia. One of Mr Brehaut’s roles at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) was Co-Lead of the world wide Architecture and Design Expert Group. The resultant report The Architecture Revolution, for which Geoff was the primary contributor and an editor, is available at: http://www.csc.com/lef/ds/56385-previous_lef_reports. During the period 1999–2001, Mr Brehaut presented papers at International and Australian conferences on aerospace joint venture program management and satellite data communications, respectively. He joined Edanz Group as an editor in 2011.

After graduating from Melbourne University, Mr Parris entered the IT development industry and for six years was involved in a variety of programming, systems analysis, and technical writing, editing and documentation roles. Mr Parris, who also speaks and writes German and Chinese, worked with language and editing fields before joining the Liwen Bianji (Edanz Editing – China) office in 2007 as an editor and IT staff. With his diversified science, IT and philosophy background, Mr Parris edits in fields related with chemistry, engineering, information technology, robotics, software development, philosophy and physics.

Dr Feizollahi 为南非罗德斯大学语言学系讲师，讲授语音学和音韵学、手语语言学、计算语言学、语义学和语用学等课程。尽管语言学一般属于人文学科，但她主要专注于听觉发音学的研究，了解自然科学、定量实验及实验结果的统计表达。现从事于声学研究，并负责学生研究项目的督导。曾发表大量研究成果，并经常在学术会议上发言。凭借在计算语言学和自然语言处理（NLP）领域的造诣，Dr Feizollahi一直在为索尼、微软语音识别实验室和LiveOps公司提供语音和自然语言处理方面的服务。此外，她还对经济法和国际法研究感兴趣并从事过相关工作。母语英语，掌握多国语言（西班牙语流利，懂土耳其语、挪威语、德语和波斯语）。2011年开始为理文工作，担任编辑。

Dr Feizollahi is a lecturer in Linguistics at Rhodes University, South Africa. She teaches phonetics & phonology, the linguistics of sign language, computational linguistics, semantics and pragmatics. Although linguistics is generally a field of the humanities, her research focuses on acoustic phonetics and she therefore has knowledge of the physical sciences, quantitative experiments and statistical presentation of results. Dr Feizollahi carries out acoustic studies as well as supervising student research projects. Her research is well published and she has presented her studies at academic conferences. Dr Feizollahi’s background in computational linguistics and natural language processing (NLP) has supported her work for Sony, Microsoft Speech Labs and LiveOps in the speech and NLP industries. She also has an interest and studies in the fields of economics and international law. Dr Feizollahi, a native speaker of English, is multilingual, being fluent in Spanish with an understanding of Turkish, Norwegian, German and Farsi. She began working as an editor for the Edanz Group in 2011.
