Elaine Monaghan

Academic Background: Ms Monaghan spent 20 years working in freshwater research organizations and was scientific officer for a reference collection of illustrations and taxonomy of terrestrial, brackish, and freshwater algae from global locations.

Publishing History: Ms Monaghan has contributed to published international projects on microbial distribution and has a particular interest in Linnaean botanical (particularly phycological) taxonomy.

Editing and Reviewing Experience: Ms Monaghan has extensive editing experience, principally with topics in the biological sciences, including phycology, international water management, agriculture, and forestry, as well as international development and corporate social responsibility. She joined Edanz Group as an editor in 2011.
