Catherine Perfect

Academic Background: Ms Perfect has over nine years of laboratory experience, with particular specialities in the fields of genetics and genomics, medicinal and biomolecular chemistry, and biochemistry and cell biology. She is skilled in the analysis of gene expression using next-generation sequencing and microarrays, and has experience of many techniques related to the analysis of gene expression patterns and genome organization. These include: RNA and DNA FISH (fluorescence in situ hybridization); chromosome painting; RNA TRAP (tagging and recovery of associated proteins); qRT-PCR.

Publishing History: Ms Perfect has published in journals including PLoS One and the Journal of Cell Science. Editing Experience Ms Perfect originally joined Edanz Group as an editor in 2011. She also undertook editing work for the Journal of Turkish Spinal Surgery in 2015 while resident in Turkey.
