Peter Fogarty

Academic Background: Mr Fogarty has worked extensively as a copywriter and editor in a variety of fields since 1996. After completing two MA English degrees, he worked as a production editor for Dove Medical Press, where he helped the publisher grow their stable from 8 journals to more than 100 over 7 years.

Editing and Reviewing Experience: Mr Fogarty has now edited more than 15,000 manuscripts in the biomedical, general, and social sciences for a wide variety of journals, with a particular focus on education, tourism, and economics. His writing has been published in news media, including New Zealand Herald and The Times. He has also had a series of vignettes published in SITES, a social anthropology and cultural studies journal. Mr Fogarty joined Edanz as an editor in 2013.
