Michelle Pascoe

Academic Background: Dr Pascoe is an honorary associate Professor in the Department of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Cape Town, South Africa. She trained as a speech and language pathologist and has a deep love of language and the written word. She has extensive experience in research, academic writing, and publishing, and she strives to help others on their own writing journeys. Dr Pascoe’s expertise lies in the domains of education, psychology, linguistics, and the health sciences (including public health, nursing, pediatrics, and medicine). Publishing History: Dr Pascoe has published over 50 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters to date and is the co-author of two books. She is an Associate Editor of two international journals and an active editorial board member of three others. Dr Pascoe joined Edanz as an editor in 2013.Writing Experience: Dr Pascoe has co-authored two books on children's speech and language development.
