Frank Kitching

Mr Kitching is a professional editor with an academic background in chemistry and specific expertise in polymer science, including all aspects of synthesis, composition, production and manufacturer of plastic materials. His Bachelors research focused on spectroelectrochemistry of transition metals and he completed postgraduate studies on the computer-aided modeling of an enzyme (porphobilinogen deaminase). After graduating, Mr Kitching worked at Thomson Reuters (Scientific) for 19 years as an editor, abstractor, and indexer specializing in polymer chemistry. He then worked as an environmental consultant responsible for investigating and testing construction materials and providing critical design information. He moved into Medical Communications in 2012 in the therapeutic areas of oncology, endocrinology and dermatology. He joined the Edanz Group as an editor in 2013.
