Leah Cannon

Academic Background: Dr Cannon is a veterinarian and molecular biologist with more than 10 years’ experience writing and editing scientific articles and grants, conducting research, and teaching students. She is currently pursuing further studies to become a Veterinary Anatomic Pathologist. She is knowledgeable in clinical and preclinical research, clinical case reports and case series, molecular biology, genetics, parasitology, biotechnology, and all areas of animal health.Publishing History: Dr Cannon has authored four peer-reviewed papers, three as first author, in journals including the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, the Journal of Physiology, and Aging Cell.Editing and Reviewing Experience: Dr Cannon has edited manuscripts and grant applications for academic scientists, startup companies, and large life science companies around the world. She joined Edanz as an editor in 2021.Writing Experience: Dr Cannon has written journal articles, posters, academic presentations, lectures, grant applications, and fellowship applications. She has also written and published a book titled 'How to Start a Life Science Company'.
