Tania Ellis

Ms Ellis holds graduate degrees in both evolutionary primatology and epidemiology. Her research has primarily focused on the evolution of infectious diseases in primates. She is well-versed in evolutionary biology, epidemiology, and biostatistics. She has also participated in fieldwork in East Africa and Central America, and has been teaching undergraduate courses in biology and public health since 2006. During the course of her research into infectious diseases in the Hawaiian islands, Ms Ellis was the lead researcher and first author of a peer-reviewed paper published in the journal, Zoonotic and Vector-borne Diseases. Ms Ellis has experience in editing academic manuscripts and graduate-level theses for both students and researchers. She is adept at editing for grammar, logical flow, and brevity, with a focus on preparing manuscripts for publication. Along with her academic editing, she has worked as a freelance editor providing copy editing services for businesses and law offices. Ms Ellis joined Edanz as an Editor in 2024.
