Matthew Grimshaw

Academic Background: Dr Grimshaw is a molecular biologist with experience in the fields of oncology, inflammation and vascular biology, and medicine and healthcare. The focus of his research career has been tumor biology and the effects of the tumor microenvironment—such as inflammation, hypoxia and the immune response—on the progression and treatment of cancer in animal models and patients. Dr Grimshaw now works as a freelance science consultant and has broad editing and writing experience in many diverse fields of biological and healthcare sciences.Publishing History: Dr Grimshaw has authored more than 20 papers in high-impact journals including Cancer Research, the Journal of Immunology, Blood, and Clinical Cancer Research.
