Victor Popoola

Academic Background: Dr Popoola is a highly trained and experienced physician-epidemiologist with more than 12 years’ experience in clinical medicine, public health, design/implementation of epidemiological studies, statistical analysis employing quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methodology, and manuscript development for publication. He is currently working on his PhD dissertation on the use of PrEP for HIV prevention in sub-Saharan Africa. He is proficient in using multiple statistical software including Stata, SPSS, R, SAS, and NVivo.

Publishing History: Dr Popoola has authored more than 20 peer-reviewed papers, 9 as first author, in journals including Clinical Infectious Diseases, JAMA Surgery, PLOS ONE, and Infection Control and Hospital Epidemiology.

Editing and Reviewing Experience: Dr Popoola has edited manuscripts for academic researchers, including students and faculty, and serves as a reviewer for six journals.

Writing Experience: Dr Popoola has academic and medical writing experience.
