Academic Background: Dr Acevedo-Rodriguez has extensive neuroscience research experience with a primary focus on stress signaling and animal behavior to probe questions important for psychiatric populations. Her thesis research was to study the anxiolytic mechanism of estrogen receptor beta activity.
